This was actually the first beard oil I ever purchased. I've tried a fair variety since, and this is probably my least favorite. It smells like one of those citrus cleaners that were popular in the early 2000s. I don't hate it completely, the orange does come on a bit too strong for me, but dissipates well enough with a little time. Beard softness is... better than nothing? It has a very greasy feel. I'd say it's a light-medium viscosity oil, but it doesn't seem to penetrate as you might expect. This leaves my beard feeling almost crunchy. When I had no frame of reference it seemed like a good value, but you can definitely find something better for money.
So I’ve been trying to use this product since I bought it but honesty I can’t get over the smell, I bought the citrus fragrance thinking it would be similar to other citrus fragrances, I’ve bought in the past a nice crisp invigorating, energizing type smell, but unfortunately, this is not it. Striking Vikings scent smell more like a household cleaner than something to use on your face. Also a little goes a long way, If you use a dab too much it’s extremely oily and not pleasant.
