My son had been using Striking Viking brand sea salt spray (less expensive, made in China); this seems like a good substitute — works similarly. I have tried them both myself on my long wavy hair. This one is more expensive — different ingredients; made in Germany; advertised as paraben-free (not sure if the other one has parabens or not); fancier sprayer. It smells good - there’s definitely a strong hint of citrus. It’s 8.5 inches high because of the fancy sprayer. Looks cool. Easy to use.

Works for anyone and any hair type! Me and my husband both love this and have been using it the past few days! It's super easy to use and has a really nice scent! I absolutely love the citrus scent and I love that it kind of lingers throughout the day. This product is so easy to use, just towel dry your hair after a shower spray some of this product on and toss it up a bit and it's good to go! I think it helps accentuate my natural curls and my husband likes that it gives his hair some definition.

If you have super straight hair like me this is a must have when you want to style it up a bit, give yourself a little texture to your hair, i combine this with hair texture powder and it gives a decent all day hold, its pretty good.

It’s only for men. The description says men and women but it smells like a man’s spray - not sea salt, as described. I had to buy a different one for my wife when I was convinced this one would do the trick.

I wanted to love this product because I love things that add texture and structure to my hair. I found that this product left my hair feeling kind of sticky which I didn't love. As other reviewers mentioned, this product does have a prominent scent. Personally, I didn't mind the scent, but I can see why others may not love it in a beauty product.

Only one spray makes your hair very very sticky. Basically it's like putting hair spray in your hair.

I want to say that this is not just geared for men. Me and my daughters all have long wavy hair and this helps us get that textured beachy wave effect as opposed to dry and frizzy. It smells citrusy in a refreshing way but the scent does not last. I quite like that it is made in Germany rather than China. The spray offers heat protection which is perfect when out in the sun. The bottle is also made well in that it's easy to grip the bottle with one hand and spray for those who have arthritis. They also thought of putting a clever lock mechanism on the bottle...just underneath the spray nozzle, there is a tiny tab that can swivel. If you keep it directly underneath the nozzle, it is lock, but slide it either way and you're ready to spray.

I love the way this makes my hair feel, but cannot stand the smell when you spray it! Luckily it doesn’t stay around once it’s blow dryed! Smells like the product they used to clean the toilets in my high school! 😂 get a new manly scent, will ya!
